Paul Harvey, Last of the Story

I just saw a blurb that Paul Harvey has passed away. I spent a lot of lunch hours listening to his broadcast.

Sometimes the old man passed out and left the am radio on so I got to hear the oldie songs and current event kind of things

Of any celebrity death I have heard or read about, I have never had the empty feeling that I am feeling right now. I feel like I have lost a lifelong friend.

That about says it. Paul Harvey was one of those genuine people who had a way of getting through to people. I know that he will be greatly missed.

It is truly the loss of a National Treasure. That is something I do not say lightly.

He was my favorite radio buddy. Next to him was Garner T. Armstrong. Both men were captivating.

He had that special quality that is not common. He knew how to get your attention, and hold it.

Loved his voice!! His son doesn't quite come off in the same way. Will miss him.
