170 Piece Brad or Twist Set $29.99 Woodcraft

I can't even find this price on the WC website, but the current flyer has :

    $29.99 reg $59.99

    170 Drill Bit Set

    19 sizes 1/16" to 3/8"

    5-10 bits of each size

    Molded interior case

    Labeled Foam Padded Lid

    148082 Brad Point Bits
    148083 Twist Point Bits

Looks like a great way to start a good collection of smaller fractional set for those Craftsman drill presses!

Are these brad bits HSS or cheaper carbon type?

              Picked up both sets yesterday

I am constantly breaking my smaller bits and at this price it works out to somthing like $.17 a piece. You get enough of each size, so I can give a set to my Dad and brothers and still have all I'll ever need. Storage case is not bad either.

Agreed storage case is really decent.

BTW, Lowes has Dewalt brad point bits 1/2" through 3/32 or so very deeply discounted. 1/2" was $2 even.
