    Guitar Case

This case was a quickie weekend project made as a followup to protect the guitar I finished up last month. It was made mostly of scraps of pressboard and paneling from the shop. Material and hardware cost were in the range of $25. Nothing fancy, but it does the trick. It was nice to have a no fuss low pressure project that could be completed in a few hours for a change.

Nicely done. Why not Jello lime green paint for the case? Or is that a fabric cover?

Looks good. Where did you get the hardware?

Thanks for the comments. The cover is fabric....stickers won't cling so well, but he'll find a way!

Rand - The hardware came from Parts Express....all kinds of speaker and audio builder parts.

              Quickie? No fuss? Low pressure?

What kind of work would you have done if you had taken your time? Wenge? Cocobolo? Rosewood? Silver, gold, pearl and diamond inlays??????

              That is outstanding work!

Pappy - Those corner covers aren't for protection, they're to cover up the places where the material doesn't meet right at the seam!

If you coat it with some light amber poly it will change the color more toward green and provide a way for those stickers to stick.
