    Veritas Spider Vise

Kind of spendy, but it probably could hold those odd shaped objects well. It is discounted when you add it to your cart.

I coulda used that a few times! But not at that price. The price is not bad for what it does and the quality of Veritas, just out of my range for what I would do with it.

I heard a rumor that Lee Valley conducts training on its use in total darkness. Also, an advanced class on how to use it with one hand and one foot.

I talked with Tommy this afternoon--he wanted my Grizzly 10% off coupon and i picked up an extra Lowe's moving coupon for him as well. Lee Valley took those, plus he talked them into honoring yesterday's 25% off one item from HF, his Craftsman Club discount, 2 Keebler Cookies $0.50 coupons (he got double), his Craigslist frequent buyer's card, and the Menard's 11% off the entire order. He scanned all that along with a picture of 38 used 7.25" saw blades and a picture of the Irwin free blade exchange display--they overnighted 2 Spider Clamps and a $20 gift card to him. The man is a DEALER!!

Actually, i kind of like the concept...but that's about where they'd have to price it if it could actually ever be made.

I almost was a believer.... then I remembered the date!

(I wish I wasn't so gullible when it comes to tools, but if you could ignore the price, it was definitely COOL )

Maybe it was just a spoof on price.

If you go to the lee valley web site you can put AFD in the search box and it will give you all the past april fools products. Some of which I believe you can actually order. Like the story tape Cab-man posted in another thread.

I do like that you can securely hold a pencil for sharpeneing (see the video). for $199.
