    Hand tool cabinet

I wasn't planning on making one anytime soon, but I ran across a sale at Rockler that I felt was too good to pass up. They have a few different species of board shorts on clearance for 50% list. I picked up 4.5bf of 4/4 cherry for $2.70/bf yesterday, and just got another 4.5bf plus a bit of mahogany as accent. Total for all of it was about $31.

Now I get to do some planning on layout and what will fit.

I ripped the mahogany into strips to use as the tool holders. I still have not done anything with the cherry.

You can see them as the three rows of tool holders next to the window. One is for bench chisels, one is for mortise, skew and corner plus a marking knife, and the third is for my nice screwdrivers, marking gauge and undetermined.
