My parents are in the midst of a major kitchen remodel, and had a bin delivered this weekend for all their refuse. It was larger than they needed, so I took the opportunity to clear out Sanford & Son's yard (mine) of all the debris that had been accumulating. I had been bagging and sneaking it in the can slowly as of late, but I had ten bags plus a mountain of junk decomposing.
I also got a bit ambitious and took down 2/3 of the ceiling to make even better use of the opportunity. It was the same as the walls were: hardwood planks between rafters and 1/4 ply nailed to it. Only 2/3 because I have to take down the big cabinet and clamp racks to do the last row.
Better than I expected this far. Not a bunch of additional infested wood, and the insulation situation was what I expected.
