I just picked up a good deal on a Bosch 1619EVS plus a bunch of good Freud bits. How many of you own this router and have any feedback or tips on how it operates e.g. any great points or idiosyncrasies?
I have the 1617 in my router lift and the 3 base dewalt DW618 for general use, plus the Bosch Colt as my trim router so I think I am pretty rounded out for now in the router department. However, some of the bits I just picked up are the big panel raisers and multi-profile variety and I wondered how the 1617 would handle these and whether to make a basic router table top to use the extra 1HP of the 1619 or just keep it for regular plunge work. The design of the 1619 means it wont fit my current router lift so that options is out.
