    Finished a small batch

This is a new pen style for me - the Curvado from PSI. I think I like the design, and the heft of the finished pen is nice. This is an order for a friend at work. From left to right: Walnut burl, Redheart, Figured Asian Satinwood, Olive, Honduran Rosewood, and Cocobolo. Finish is thin CA/BLO (seven coats), then buffed. Thanks for looking.

Each and every one of those is beautiful. Nice work!

Dang they look good! Ever try Chinaberry? It's highly figured, I'll cut up a small piece and see if the small piece looks as good as the large. If so I'll send you a piece if you want it.
I'm not that partial to a large pen, too hard to clean out your ear with!

Great looking pens, all of them! How is the quality of the Curvado? Are the clips nicely made?

Thanks all for the kind words.

Cap - I'm always game to try new blanks; let me know if the Chinaberry is interesting, would love to see a photo of a pen-sized spindle. Maybe we could work something out.

Gerd - the clip is solid - beefy, comes pre-assembled into the top piece, and nicely polished. I will definitely be keeping more of these on hand.

WGreat looking pens. Excellent job match the grain for top and bottom barrels. What did you use for the finish?

They look great. I love the satin!

I've been wanting to get back into making pens again, but dang I have so many projects (from LOML) just waiting on me.

              Thanks for the eye candy!

Thanks Hank, Mike & Richard. It was a fun set, and I'm making another - this time as a marketing tool: a coworker who is still active in his old college fraternity is interested in taking one to their annual meeting and showing it off, with the fraternity Greek letters on one side of the clip, and spelled out on the other (lasered, by a guy I know at Woodcraft). I made a fountain pen like that for him, and he's been showing that off as well. May yield some more sales.
