ROS With Less Vibration

Ran across this ROS in the new Sears catalog. It looks like it's from the 'Star Trek Enterprise'. The description calls it 'Vibrafree'. It may be just hype, but it sure looks different.

Hey cabinetman, I got some prime land for sale, wanna buy it? When Sears/Craftsman came out with their miter saw with a laser I bought into their "Laser-Trac" boast and bought one. Never again will I believe any claim they attach to their products.

Did you also fall for this one? The only laser I have is the one that drives my dogs and cats crazy. I may get one for my .357.

Nope didn't even know about that one but I'll bet it's more accurate than the one that came with my CMS.

I read a comparison of that sander against other 5" ROS and it was not very good at its job. It has dual concentric counter-rotating discs (and maybe a retro encabulator)

I think it's typical craftsman; bells and whistles to add "value" to a mediocre product.

Not sure I would want some like that in my shop I would need sunglasses

As it happens I just ordered a new ROS. My DW is getting a little worn out and I could use another so I can have more than one grit loaded up at a time.

Based on an older review test in FWW where the Bosch version got best tool and best value I am getting one of these.

As its an older model it can be had now for only $50

I believe it a relabel of the bosch 1295DVS.
