    Greene and Greene Clock

I decided to make G and G styled clocks of my own design for each of our children. When they are completed the plans get tossed and they will have the only clock made by me with my design. Hope they like 'em and if they don't they better keep their mouth shut. Here's two photos of the first one. The white lines at the bottom of the one on the left is light glare.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

Very nice, indeed. I like the cloud lift in profile as well as your choice for the dial board. Did you buy that or print it yourself?

Really nice! I, too, like the design of the clock faces.

Thanks guys. I did buy the clock face and dial hands. The works are from Seiko: battery operated. Just couldn't afford the mechanical mechanisms.

That's excellent! I think you should reconsider tossing the plans and submit them to one of the woodworking magazines. Just be sure to sign and date the clocks you made.

                        It's a beautiful clock!

if you built two then you should have a picture with two and only two clocks together as a remembreance of the "limited" production.

Also a tip: Professional clock, watch, and timepiece photographers ALWAYS set the analog clocks at 10:10 (or 10:09) for pictures. If there's a second hand it often is at 30 or 35 seconds but not always. Seriously! Its a custom, presumably to showcase the logo below the "12" and to make it look symmetrical and show both hands. See this example from the Rolex and Tissot webpages (first ones I could think of with a lot of pics in one page):

I really like this - and well done, especially the midsection curves with the (ebony?) insets.
