I don't dare post this in "Bargain Alerts"...

    Not mine!!! http://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/tls/4266247572.html

What color is the sky in the seller's world? But at 220 amps, it might be a real screamer

I can fix that. Well, the rusty part that is. It would still be a big old table saw.
That price is right on the money though. That is if it works well and isn't as worn out as the pictures show.

$300 for what's probably a direct drive saw with perhaps a universal motor? Sounds a bit rich to me.
there's a solution to every problem.......you just have to be willing to find it.

. . . and I noticed that he is selling it as a 12" instead of 10 inch that the saw says on the front.

It's a 12" and that is the only reason $300 is okay.

The cord doesn't look nearly heavy enough for 220 amps. Let's see…220 amps @ 110 volts requires a … looks like 00-gauge conductor. I'm not an electrical engineer, so I might be off by a "0" or two.

don't worry about the cord, the 100A main breaker at your house's input panel should protect it.

Twelve inches should give you some bragging rights...

Guys, I don't think that is rust. The picture color must be off, slightly. I think the discoloration is gold splatters.

But if it is rust, and this POS actually sold, I'm loading up a trailer with old table saws and hitting the road for Carol Stream...

Looks kind of like it has been sitting for some time in Carol Stream (or some stream).

I had to look REAL close, you are right. Sure looked like a 10 until I blew it up.

                            Thanks for the correction.
