Went to ortho this morning to get the results of an MRI on my right knee. already knew I have a torn meniscus in the left knee. I have some wear to the cartilage as well as a minor meniscal tear. The cartilage wear isn't bad enough to warrant surgery (Knee replacement). He said with the size and location of the tear trying to scope it would probably do more damage than good.
For now looks like it is either live with the pain or wear a brace. They are trying to order another brace that is lighter than the one I have now but I was told it is a toss up as to whether it will get approved or not.
Since this is part of a Worker's Comp claim involving multiple issues all I can do is wait and see.
