    SawdustZone.com

Hey folks we are looking for members that wish to be part of the team that re-skins the site. We need experienced graphic people to help us. If you have these skills post here or email or PM myself, dbhost, or Stytooner. It has been nearly a year since we choose this course and it is time to get the ball rolling.

I could be of no help what-so-ever.

Our dart association's website (that I set up and run) needs the same thing, plus some more features that people have been requesting. I haven't got a clue.

Completely off topic but could you look to see if there is a later Tapatalk host version than what you are running?

When I use the latest client version it complains about the host version. Not a major thing it still works ...

I am going to hazard a guess that the newer software package may not have this issue. Either way we will check on that.

I can only offer my help on a graphic or three if that is needed. Otherwise inexperienced with forum software.

While I'm dumb as a chicken when it comes to website development of anykind, I am fairly decent in the graphics department. Would be glad to help where I can.

Please let me know what you need and I'll see what I can do!

I am not sure we know what we need. We need someone with experience at least in Vbulletin software and that is familiar with selecting or building the skin. Knows what kind of graphics are needed and knows how to oversee those that have the graphics skills and get them in the right spots on the template before the new site ever goes live.

I think we have a couple guys that are versed in doing the actual upgrade, but everyone is busy, so sharing the load would be beneficial to all involved I think.

You might look at buying a custom skin, and adjusting and customizing it as needed. I did that on an old Genome forum.

Lemme rephrase my previous post...we can help with regular graphics, etc. Neither of us have done any sort of forum skinning.

There are probably places to add normal custom graphics in a skin or template that we choose. It is those places where we might want specific illustrations of a specific size and format.

Is there a place that has custom skins or standard skins available? I'll give it a google.

Just a fer instance, check out this link to a skin I did find. I have found quite a few since I looked.

I looked for these in the past once and couldn't find much. Not sure what I did wrong then, but they seem to be plentiful.

Then again, there are some that are free. Looks like it should be easy enough to manipulate either the default or one of these to what the Members might like.

Maybe the first step might be to actually upgrade the software, then fix or add what we want?
