    Motor Trunion BT3100 - What is it?

    Hello,
    what is a/the trunion for the BT3100 motor? I know what one is for a firearm, but does anyone have an explanation and pic for my table saw?

    A trunion in a table saw is the pivot point around which the saw makes its bevel cut - the tilt center.



    in the above pictorial, the locker bracket 10 pivots from the horizontal plane about the axis defined by (I'm not entirely sure but pivots 15)

      Actually the pivots are I believe #15 and they are small dowel pins, like a needle bearing.
