Made it through with no major problems. Took close to 3 hrs and was sore Wed and into Thu. Pain started to subside by Thursday afternoon and, although I still hurt, it is tolerable. Took me off of all the IV meds this afternoon. Pain is controlled by Norco as needed. Fairly sure I will be going home tomorrow.

Just have to make myself stay down and let everything heal.

Excellent news Don (I guess seeing the floor worked). Take your time and listen to your body.

Glad to see it came out well, Don. Take care of yourself and listen to the doctors. They may be after your wallet, but they want you to feel good while they do it.

                            Any good photos?

Seriously, though ----- glad to hear you're doing well!

If the nurse is as good looking as Don say she is well, we won't go there.

Still pretty much down. I need to make a frame for my wife for Christmas but don't know if I will be able to get that involved in time. I was going to machine a piece of Purpleheart from some stock I have but I'm not sure I'm up to the task. Cutting and machining the frame mold is the hard and time consuming part. May give it a shot on Sat or Sun. If I can get that done the blue up and finish are easy. I need to cut some shellac for another project so I will use that and wipe it on.

Trying to rework a pair of Stanley #5's for the sons. Got the electrolysis set up and the frogs in now. Will clean the frames tomorrow and start the Japanning. Should have them ready for the oven by Sat.

The decision to switch hospitals was good. Everything from the attitude of the staff, quality of care, and even the food was better than the other 3 I have been in during this whole ordeal.
