We ended the 28 day cycle of the FMD yesterday and at this mornings weigh in I was down yet another ~2 pounds. My total for the 28 days was ~13.5 lbs and I am pretty happy. My target weight is still another 3 ish to go but we are off the strict FMD for now. Allegedly your metabolism still keeps working more efficiently and as long as you dont abuse it too badly you can still keep on losing weight.

We are going to stay with some of the things we learned while on this regime although modify it with the addition of some of the banned demon substances. I cant wait for some bread, a potato and of course a beer! We wont go mad but it will be interesting to see what happens over the next couple of weeks. I will let you know.

I am stuck on a plateau between 215 and 220. I'm riding plenty. Seems I need to stop eating so much and cut back on the beer.

Finally broke below 240. It has been a while since I've been here.

Congrats Neal! I broke over 220 for the first time in about a year.

With the final weigh in this week my total for the period was a little over 14 pounds and I am really happy. Having been off the full FM Diet for a couple of weeks my weight has varied a little but has not just shot back up even though there have been a few beers added to my weekly intake. I have even lost a little more this past week which is great. The big upcoming challenge is vacation time so we will have to see how things look by the time mid July comes around. I can see doing a few extra weeks of the FMD periodically as the year goes on.

Who won? I have been neglecting to even check since my weight is not cooperating.

Dunno. I haven't stepped on the scale in a couple of weeks. My schedule has been insane, and I haven't been eating as I should... But my pants are fitting loose now. Almost ready to step down a size and I was tight in these pants when I started... So that is good...

That right there is the best indicator of improving health and much more important than any random number on a scale.

I've been super busy yes. I am also keeping better track of my activity using S-Health on my Galaxy S5. (My S4 went to the great bit bucket in the sky...). I have been achieving 125% or better of my daily goals on all but 2 days in the last 2 months...

Diet hasn't been as stringent as I would like, had some digestive bug issues, and doc told me to waive off the diet a bit and go with a more bland diet for a bit... (Fewer peppers, not so much protien, more crackers kind of stuff...). Getting back to it though. Thank God for Millers Cafe and their Bunless turkey burgers!
