    I'm back...

Hi guys, some of the old timers will remember me, but its been a while since I've been around. Been fighting prostate cancer since 2008 and now going through a second round of treatments, with a good prognosis ahead, if all goes well.

After 50 years in the work world, I am retiring on 12/31 and my project for this spring and summer is to dig my shop from under several years of my inability to use it. https://sites.google.com/site/kaweaver/the-other-side.

One of my other goals is to get back into the forum, my long time Bro, Ken Massingale threatened me with bodily harm if I didn't, so here i am.

Look forward to re-meeting old friends and meeting new ones!

    Warm regards

Welcome back, good to see you. I don't think I am an old timer (maybe a middle timer?) but I remember you and I am glad you are back.

Congrats on retirement, good luck getting back to the shop and most importantly, here's to your continued improving health.

This is what's ahead of me for this spring...somewhere in there is 400+ bd ft of red oak, white oak, white pine and a mixture of maple and other stuff including my table saw, band saw, chop saw, joiner, my 1948 Delta lathe, mortiser, scroll saw, router, and drill press. My workbench area has also been captured but I think everything is still in there.

Welcome back Ken. We were up in Clemson last Saturday for the football game. Two girls will head back there this weekend (one Saturday, one Sunday). I hope you get to make some sawdust soon.

                      Welcome back.
Seems like so many old timers are gone either from the forum, or passed. In the last month, I saw a question that made me wonder about Ray in the UK, and then made me wonder about some other posters, like Monty's grandson that posted for a while after he passed.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

...and MilDoc, GermDoc, Crocket and many other regulars that I can't recall. I know some had said they were signing off due to life changes, but it would be good to have the old gang back together.

                          Ken,

Welcome back. Your shop looks about as organized as mine. I am not sure if there is a cure for that though. Unless Rod wrote a book on how to make your shop look cleaner than the house

Pay attention, man. I see at least FOUR!

I guess that means Ken has way high priorities. Or maybe he's just showin' off.
