    2,500 a milestone?

I just noticed I have reached 2,500 posts, do I get a cake

I know it still pales into insignificance compared to Loring's nearly 17,000!

Loring should be able to tell you all about milestones...

5000 is the one I remember. Named for Monte, who I think was the first poster to reach it.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

Actually the Full Monte is reached at post 5244 which is the post count that Monte had when he passed away, may he rest in peace. For those that are newer than that Monte was a member from nearly day one who always had positive comments on every post. In those days the completed projects forum was quite popular and Monte commented on nearly every thread with praise to the OP. He also took part in other forum discussions always with a positive post. His passing was untimely and Sam (the creator of BT3Central.com) honored him with a member title. He was until his death our top poster.

I never got the promised Plaque for 10,000.
I wouldn't hold my breath for the cake.

I don't post a lot these days. For a while Loring, I, and a couple of other 'old timers' ran neck and neck after we lost Monte but it was never a competition about the count.

Yes, but according to the by-laws, the formal request has to be made on or before the 2475th post....or maybe the was according to the "in-laws"...

              Congrats on your prolification!

And he'd deserve every one of them.

Oh, you mean just one plaque for 10,000 posts.

Since 2004 I have made a little over 2800 post. Do a lot of ready not a lot of posting. That is abut 2000 more posts than I have had conversations with wife in same time, that is what she would say. I don't spend a lot of time online to many other things going on. Only belong to 3 sites . BT#, IAP, and West Capital Raceway Alumni and Facebook again lot of reading little posting. I am amazed at how many posts some people have. Well time to take dogs for walk.then finish laying floor in master bedroom.
