I built this for my wife's 6th grade class. She loves it so I thought I would share it here.

My wife saw a bunch of ideas like this on Pinterest, but most were just cardboard cutouts or paper covered book cases made to look like the Redbox. She wanted an actual book case, and this is what she came up with. She designed it, and I built it (we make a great team!). There are bookshelves on both sides, with small shelves on the front. The logo is a stick on that she custom ordered from Etsy. I have gotten a lot of compliments, and I hope to sell some of these!Comment

That is a really cool piece! Before you sell any - just an thought, but to avoid any issue using the arch from the Redbox logo, could that be stylized into an open book, either facedown open to ~140 degrees, or if face up, open to ~220 degrees?Bill in Buena ParkComment

Wonderful project!
It really looks like a great piece for any classroom reading center. I hope you can publish it and perhaps receive some significant orders for other classes and schools
Very nice indeed,

That is fantastic. If any of the teachers I know see this, I'll be forced to plagiarize it.Chr's
