Clean Shop Cult--Rod, David, and ???

    David and Rod,

I am afraid your sickness is spreading. With new inspiration, I spent the last three days cleaning up my bench. I had not seen the surface for six months. I can't show you the rest of the shop as it is still filthy.

    But...

I am making a hanger for LOML's scarves using glass doorknobs.

    Steve,

    That bench looks really good.

Try cleaning the rest of the shop and give it a week. You will like working in a clean shop. A lot. From experience recent, cleaning it is a lot harder than keeping it clean.

Just don't come to my door asking for "a few moments of my time". A mess just shows that I'm working hard. Plus, the more dust I have laying around, the better argument I have for a DC purchase when the time arrives.

You still have work to do. We can tell its not Rods shop. 1 drawer is slightly open on the bins and i think a few labels are crooked.

He may have work yet to do, but the framed picture of Rod and the curly shaving in front of it ... that's just classic, made my whole afternoon.

There I was in my Shed and suddenly I had this urge to login to BT3Central...

Steve, I am deeply honoured and humbled - seriously!

Beautiful (CLEAN) bench, but I'm sure it would be much more useful without the clutter on the right hand end [)]

I put a beaded edge on 25 8' ppeces of cedar today with my bT mounted router. I thought about taking a picture before I cleaned up the mess...wish now I had.

I was hoping to get my shop cleaned yesterday but never got to it. I'll try for it again today.

It looks like Rod has started a "Clean Up America Week" from down under. Looks good Steve, the clutter can stay.

TOO FUNNY LOL.....love the additional touches with the candles, brush, token shaving...and "THE PICTURE"
Not a bad idea at all....everytime I would see "THE PICTURE" I would WANT to go clean up something! What a great motivator!

I think we should all empty out our dust collectors and sent the contents to the "neat freaks"
