For anyone in New Jersey that's interested. The Union , NJ store had 2 left clearance priced at $129.00. That was as of this morning at 9:00 am

Wierd. You do a google search and FT2200 has 91 hits which is practically the same as zero. One of the hits is another forum pointing out the router for sale also at Lowes. Do a google for FT2000 and you get 2300 hits. Is the 2200 the same essentially as the 2000, only specialy packed for Lowes?

According to this thread it is the replacement for the FT2000, essentially the same mechanically with different handles and top. HTH
