Free Shipping at Rockler

I just got a letter in the mail about the Greensboro, NC Rockler store closing, as of January 15. The letter included a free shipping code that is valid from 1/16/07 to 3/15/07 (to help ease the pain of losing the store). I don't know if it is only valid for folks in NC, but it 's worth a shot.

The free shipping code is RTA60.

I think it says promotion code. It is on the screen as your crdit card info is on.

Thanks for the code. It worked for me. I delayed my decision for the 10"
hand clamp and missed out on the holiday free shipping code, ordered (4) in lieu of (2) because of free shipping.

It worked for me at check out but later i received an email saying it was not good untill the 16th and i can pay shipping or wait till then and reorder

I used this code to order two clamps and the t-track kit that's on sale. The email order conf I received was with free shipping.

I checked my credit card yesterday and they had charged me shipping $6.99, plus tax, so it was much more than the email conf. I emailed Rockler to give them a chance to fix it before I contact the credit card, but Rockler has not responded yet.

We'll see.

Free, (but verrrrrrry slow) shipping

I ordered some stuff on 12/31 under their free shipping offer. I still don't have it and their tracking site says it is 'in process' just as it has since 1/1/07. I haven't rec'd any communication from them whatsoever!. I continue to be unimpressed with Rockler!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the same problem with an order on 12/31. I email them yesterday asking if there was a problem with the order and it shipped that day.

I did the same last week, they said 'it will ship today'. I then check 3 days later and still had not shipped, called them and they said 'sorry we're backed up in the warehouse it should go out today'.. That was 3 days ago.

I also placed another order about a week ago and the still has not shipped.

I've never had a problem with rockler before......But if they don't ship soon, I'll have to rethink future orders. Good thing I don't need the stuff, and was just getting some 'good deals'.

I ordered something monday. Up until this morning, the status of the order was that it had been placed but not shipped.

Then this morning I received the package (thursday). About a half hour later I got an email that my order had been shipped

Got mine today with a shipping charge that did not appear on the email confirmation. I have requested a refund for shipping.

Just checked my statement. I have also been charged for shipping on my order. Sent an e-mail requesting that the shipping charges be reversed. Watch your statements.

I hope you guys askign for a refund realize the free shipping deal clearly stated it didn't start until the 16th. Not to mention it was supposed to be for select customers...
