    ShopNotes Assembly table...

If any one is interested -

I have been given permission by August Home publishing to provide a PDF of the article in Issue #30 (see below, on the right).

    Here are the rules:

"What you can do with my permission is: Make a pdf of the plan (i.e. scan it) and send it in individual e-mails to individuals as long as you are not charging them any fee to receive it.

What you can NOT do (because it violates copyright laws) is: Put the pdf up on a web page or in a forum or anywhere else on the Internet where anybody can access it."

PM me if you are interested.

NOTE: You will have to live with my pencil notes in the article

        Rod,

I noticed that all the MDF in your shop has the same light brown/orangish color. The MDF I use is much lighter in shade and more yellowish beige. Did you paint all your MDF to match, or does MDF in Australia just come in that color?

        Thanks in advance.
        - Chris.

Ha! - one of my hot buttons...

MDF in Oz comes in MANY different colors - much to my annoyance
From pale to "dark" - I prefer the pale.

No I don't paint it a color, but I do try to find the pale stuff.

There is no pattern to the color/manufacturer - 1 Manufacturer can have several different colors for the same thickness board - I guess it's related to the batch of "stuff" that goes into the manufacture.
