    Can't see Pat's (Popeye's) photos properly

Is it just me or do other people have problems looking at Pat's photos? I did a screen capture and I'm uploading a copy of the photo as it appears on my screen. I don't seem to have a problem looking at other user's photos. OTOH, I don't seem to have problems looking at his photos w/ my other machines (I'm running IE7 on this box, IE6 everywhere else). But my IE7 doesn't exhibit this problem w/ any other sites.

It just so happens that I always like Pat's projects and I really want to look at the photos!

No such problem here, running Firefox 2.0, although those pictures do load quite slowly despite being only 640x480. I'm on DSL, and they slowly "paint" from top to bottom about like they'd do on dial-up. By comparison, the 640x480 pics in my "Sow's Ear Update" thread go bang bang bang, no delay at all. Maybe a slowdown with the server that's hosting his images?

I was able to look at them with no trouble. Pictures loaded up quickly. Did you try refreshing things. Maybe clearing out things first. shutting the computer off and booting up (not a re-boot) fixes a multitude of problems.

I just noticed that he hosts his photos elsewhere, rather than uploading them to bt3central.com. Oh well, perhaps if I ignore this long enough it will fix itself.

I have never been able to get a full photo to load from Popeye's posts but I get everyone elses fine. IE6 and IE7 both had the problem. It frustrates me because he has posted some pretty cool looking stuff from the partial view I get.

Interesting. That site is like a monument to photos that don't load properly for me.

I'll try it from some other machines.

I have the same problem with other photos hosted on that site, including Thom's.

                    Ditto.

I don't know if it has something to do w/ some pluggin on my PC, or the network between my PC and their servers.

Nope, antenna is moved to where trees should not be a problem.

For those that are having problems, are you running netgear products???

                            specifically a WGR614 by chance???
If it ain't broke.. don't fix it!!!... but you can always 'hop it up'
