    Reception desk

Just delivered this reception desk, made from maple ply and maple. Finish is clear poly.

The top is maple and removable stained with ebony, semi gloss poly and then two coats of butchers wax.

That's great work. Very nice. Interesting to see something done for a business instead of purely the hobby side.

Nice job. I really like the way the counter turned out.

I did a search on Butchers wax. Did you use the bowling alley wax?

I don't think I have ever seen a reception desk quite like that. Most of them are so dark, or prefab junk. That looks fantastic. Wish the reception area furniture of our corp offices looked that nice...

That's a classy looking reception desk. The ebony finished top really adds nice contrast and sets off the light maple beautifully. Hope they paid you a bonus for it. Pat

Very nice, not the usual straight-sided design and I like the contrasting colors.

Hope nobody trips over the door/gate!

The contrast makes the piece go from another reception area to a focal point!

Al, I tried to send you an email but it bounced. Is the addy associated with your ID correct?

Bob, the e-mail address is correct.

Yes, butchers wax = bowling alley wax.

Thank you for all of the kind comments.
