    Shop Progress

Here are a few pictures of where I am with the shop.
There were 3 kitchen cabinets and 10' of countertop left by the previous owner.
I had to make a base for the white counters and used 6' of the countertop on them. I built the lathe table and used the other 4' of countertop for it.

Next I plan on rebuilding 4' of the shelf system next to the lathe table and putting up 12' of pegboard on that wall, 4' to the left of the window and 8' on the right side.

    Destroy the white lace curtain!

Lastly hang a couple more flourescents.

For now I am going to move the DC machine to machine until I am sure of the placement.

Hey Dick did you run off with my adjustable sawhorses? I better go check my shop to make sure they are still there

The shop is shaping up nicely.

              +1

I didn't think a car or insect belonged in the shop And why would you destroy the lace curtains? They add such class to a great shop. I am so jealous of the space. I haven't even seen the floor in my shop for several days.

Looking good Dick. See by the picture the weather is still nice up there, going to change for weekend I hear. AT least you will have a nice shop to work in this winter. Is that a slow speed water cooled sharpener on the bench? Looks like a Jet.

Putting the lathe right in front is sure to speed this step up!

Looks great. I wish I had half the tools, much less the nice looking storage, that you do.

I dunno Dick, I'd leave that lace curtain. Doesn't every shop need one?

I agree with Pat, you need some sawdust on the floor. Proves you did something and softer to stand on than concrete.

                              More seriously - looking good.
