I looked into this model extensively a couple years back. I found it very stout, and I think a good value at this price, but I opted to go with a Barracuda mini chuck, primarily because of the simpler single-key design.

I have a Nova Midi chuck and it is 1st class. The tommy bars are a pain but for that price you can't go wrong.

What do you want to do with it? What is the level of your woodturning skills?

More experienced turners often don't use chucks. If you really want to use a chuck, that's a fair price for a decent chuck. But you can achieve better and more accurate results with wood chucks made on the lathe. See Bill Jone's books for more information if you are not familiar with jam chucks, etc.
