Has anyone used one of these? I have the big Craftsman one from Sears and really like it, but HATE the price tag...

I have one from HF, but can not really say anything bad or good. I did not use any other, so do not have a reference point to compare. Thanks god my back mostly still in good shape and I can not comment on usefulness of it. I bought it mostly being curious that people mentioned about these mats plus I have concrete floor in unheated garage and it helps from freezing my feet in winter.

It appears to be much like the ones I got from Big-Lots. I have them throughout my shed and I also place them out front in my cutting area. I haven't used any other type, but I do notice a difference at the end of the day when I don't place the mats outside. My feet and legs are usually a lot more sore if I don't use them.

          I presently have one

Craftsman Anti-Fatigue Workshop Mat - Red

          Sears Item# 00912948000 | Model# 12948

So far it has been great, but with a regular price tag of $39.99, and even a sale price of $29.99, I am thinking something cheaper is in order. I really want a total of 3 of these mats... So I dig deep and cough up some change, or get mats I may regret...

I'd try out the $8 mats first...

I have two sets of the HF mats, one at my work bench and the other in front of the washer and drier. Both sets have been in use for a number of years and show zero sign of wear. A light pass over them with the shop vac and they clean right up.

How hard is it to roll items over these?

It's not that hard on mine. Most of my casters are 3" though. Things move a bit slower, but I haven't had a problem with my jointer, planer cart or dust collector cart.

I would think that the mats are easy enough to move so you don't have to roll stuff over them. Just a thought, never mind...

I am going to have to snag a couple of these... I REALLY need to do everything I can for my back...

The ones I got from Big-lots are an interlocking type with some edging strips. I covered the extire open floor area of my shed with them.

These appear to be the similar http://www.harborfreightusa.com/usa/...o?itemid=94635
                      Pad dimensions: 25" L x 25" W each (set of four)

HF mats sound exactly like pelligrini described.

Between my bench and my shelves I have a ~5' wide area. I cut a few mats in half in my table saw. The saw worked like a charm. Using some sissors on the first mat was a pain.

Yeah, I'd cover the entire shed floor with them for a level surface. I've
got 3 and 4 inch casters.

Covering a non-level surface with these will not level the surface
