Got that email, too. I went for two years. Just hope the first issue doesn't take 10 months to arrive like my This Old House . I actually got a renewal notice in between the first and second issues .

Thanks! though it cost me a bit more, as I also ended up getting a shirt w/ "RELAX - I can fix it" written across it.

I got it for a while and thought it was inferior to most other wood related magazines.

The price is good but the magazine not so much.

I agree with the Daves. I subscribed for a while, but I didn't bother renewing. I do think it's a pretty good deal for $5 a year.

There were a few good articles when I was getting it, not all that many as I recall. Most of the content revolved around the ads and the products that Woodcraft carries.

Hey, I had a whole dollar in 'Tanga-bucks', so my total for two years was $8.98. I reckon I can get nine bucks worth out of two years .

                  Thanks for posting,
I never thought it was that great of a magazine but it's amazing what you will buy when something is such a cheap price. So I signed up for a 2yr subscription.
I figured it would at least be good for the wood working class I am teaching at our home school co-op.

I just tried the link- cost is now 19.99/ year! Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but not worth it at that price.

+1. But there are usually 1 or 2 articles that are worth while. For *this* price I think it's worth it.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Thanks for posting this. I just let my family handyman and popular woodworking expire due to family $ cutbacks. While Woodcraft is no PWW, for $15 I'll get three years of guilt free enjoyment.

OK, I'm in for 3 years at 83 cents an issue. It is well worth it at that rate.

                              Good deal

Agree that the magazine is only fair - let my subscription run out over a year ago but I'm sure I'll find a nugget in each issue.
