    Bandsaw blades for green wood?

I've been using both a Timberwolf and Lenox Bi-metal for most of my resawing with good results. But when it comes to greener wood, I pretty consistently have problems with both - a cake-like buildup of dust cementing itself to the band in the area just behind the gullets, which creates "drag" on the blade passing through the kerf and starts to bind the blade. I'm thinking that these blades, both 3-4H I believe, may not have a sufficient set.

Appreciate any thoughts and recommendations for preferred blades - brands, width, tooth type/set/pitch, etc. for cutting green wood.

    A special blade:

    from this article: http://americanwoodworker.com/blogs/...aw-blades.aspx
The Timber Wolf 1203AS is a specially designed wet resaw blade. The extra-wide kerf is designed to help clear the moist, stringy fibers in green wood. The blade is thicker than we recommend (.030-in.) for a 14-in. saw, but the Timber Wolf has a blade body made of flexible silicon steel that can handle the small-diameter wheels without fatigue. If you cut a lot of green wood, you may want to give one of these blades a spin.

Timberwolf blades are sold by Suffolk machinery http://www.suffolkmachinery.com/

Both Highland and Suffolk are often regarded as pretty good blade suppliers, altho there's one member here who continually rails against suffolk.

Thanks Loring and Mike. I think I'll give that one a try.
